Admiralty designed Motor Fishing Vessel, built for the Royal Navy in 1944/45. She was sold out of service in 1948 and was then used for fishing out of Belfast until being converted into a Motor Yacht in 1965.
A fantastic live-aboard with huge cruising potential. She is seaworthy, economical, and comfortable and with the possibility of a berth on the River Dart, this is a fantastic opportunity to purchase a stylish live-aboard in a stunning location.
She is a very comfortable home, fully and extensively equipped, warm in winter, sunny and airy in the summer. A fine sea boat making 7.5 knots through the water at 1.5 gallons per hour. Water is free and there is no council tax! A very pleasant and inexpensive way to live. Owner is regretfully letting her go due to the onset of Arthritis.
Seriously spacious and well laid-out engine room with a well-maintained, immaculate engine that was built to last.
Much admired, well known around the classic regattas with many concourse prizes to her name. She has a varied and interesting history too, she was used for the hunt for Nessie in the 80's and made an appearance in the film "A fish called Wanda".
Shipwrights have recently(07) completed a substantial amount of work to keep her in top condition. This work included bulwarks, capping, replacement planks and coverboards.
Anti-fouled this year 08.
